UNICEF HK recommends to give children at least one hour of free play a day. This helps foster children’s healthy development, reclaim their childhood that may be lost, and achieve Zero Underdevelopment for our children.
Just merely seeing this poster means something has seriously gone wrong here.

1.The objective is good but has anything been done to ake the schools to give less homework to the kids so that they can play for 1 hour daily?

2. If the kids' timetable is getting more & more packed, later will we see posters defending the right to sleep or meal daily?

Teachers, principals, parents and relevant officials should really join hand in hand to tackle this problem.

I completely agree! I am so disappointed with the education system in HK!
Less homework can definately help.

D人成日話而家D小朋友比我們當年幸福, 我就話我們小學時個個小朋友都不知幾幸福, 中午12時放學之後, 就玩玩玩玩玩, 又無功課做, 食完飯睇完電視先睡, 考試就考天才, 當年小學係玩既, 中學就真係要讀書.

不過而家時代唔同啦!

哈，當年都係中四先發力。除了語文是很難追之外，其他科問題不大。所以小學教好中英文，中學就易讀

基本上，大部份學校轉全日制，但仍保留以前全日制的功課量（半日制要學生自修多些，合理），又鼓吹一體一藝多元發展！

如果貴子弟無一個鐘頭時間玩，請先睇睇：各下可有安排太多課外活動？小朋友做功課時間會否過慢？如果功課量唔多得做得耐，就要諗諗點去解決呢個問題...
記住，玩嗰一個鐘唔係玩電話/睇電視！做呢兩樣嘢對小朋友無乜好處！
