Kowloon Batish Church Kinder?

I want to know more about this school.  Heard that the interview is very tough.  It's a very good school with super-value only $2k only.  Can anyone share?

Also, what's their primary school allocation from this kinder?

The fees for 2005 is $2,200 per month.  They only have one K1 in the morning, and 2 in the afternoon.

The comments about this kindie are positive, nice teachers, good value for money, children learn a lot thru play.  However, they only have 3 classrooms and they don't have any outdoor playground.  Their phys. ed. is conducted in the public playground next to the building.  They also don't teach phonics.  As they offer K1-K2 only, most of their children go to ESF (e.g. KJS) or international kindies/primary.  

My child had an interview recently and the interviewing Manager was really nice and patient (they're hiring a principal as the previous principal retired already).  Unlike some kindies which only allow one parent to be present, my husband and I could join our girl in the interview.  The Manager led us into a room where there were some toys and my girl played with them.  While she was playing with them, the Manager chatted with her.  Then she took us to the classroom and introduced my girl to the children.  There were 3 teachers helping the children with different activities.  The children were free to move around but most of them were sitting around a table and busy with their work (e.g. playdoh).  The Manager took my girl to play with the children and asked her more questions while she was playing to make sure that she could communicate in English. I saw Chinese, Indian and also western kids there.  And I felt the teachers were very much devoted to the children.  The whole process lasted for a little more than half an hour.  Although the place was old, I felt it was a cozy place.

I think the disadvantages of this school is that they are offering K1 and K2 only.  Kids must go to somewhere to continue their kinder.

It is because KBCK is a British-based international kindergarten. Children start Primary one at the age of 5 under British-based curriculum system.
