I want a foreign passport!

Canadian International School only accepts Canadian Passport holder or siblings for admission assesment starting form this year. ESF says that 70% of their students should possess a foreign passport. Not to mention GSIS and others that have priority for their nationals. I just wanna give my kid a global perspective, critical thinkting skills and less pressure IS education. I want to get a foreign passport ah :) !!!!!!!

忘记passports, 拉长戰线, 只要努力教好自己的孩子, 他们必然会飞身呢求你, 到时是中英美法欧日任你挑,唔合心水, 去火星也是可以的.

Nowadays not many know who 慈祥鵬 was referring to (obviously not 盧海鵬), the year would give a hint, and to think that was ATV! how very different ATV is today.

ESF.... 70% possess foreign passport... That means 30% are not, that's quite a high percentage indeed! Why are you so disappointed? Even if you belong to the 70% group, haven't you heard many of those in the group are not offered a place while many of those in the 30% group are offered a place?  ESF in this case, most importantly, if your kid has what it takes to benefit from the international school system, I don't see the importance of "owning a foreign passport".  
Or if you can afford the $500K ESF NR, that gives you a really high chance getting in I guess.
It's not as bad as what you think... Cheer up.

I think not every kid benefit from one system or one type of school. If they don't take your kid, apart from telling you that you are not "lucky enough", it also tells you that this is not a place where your kid would benefit from.

I don't have foreign passport too but I think MONEY can help us better the chance of getting into the schools I want for my kids!

Newdaddy: Your child will need to pass the assessment before the priority list is activated.  As far as I know most of the children in the English stream are not German/Swiss/Austrian nationals.
