THANKS!! 即PN & N 都係for 2years old ?! Technically N is not the same as PN.
PN = Pre-Nursery for kids below 2 yrs and 8 months on Sept 1 of that school year.
N = Nursery = K1 kids needs to be at least 2 yrs and 8 months on Sept 1 of that school year.
K2 = Kindergarten lower class
K3 = Kindergarten higher class.
However, in recent years many people has mixed up PN and N and incorrectly refer to PN as N.
If you talk to the teachers in Kindergartens, N means nursery or K1 not PN.
That is with the exception of Nurseries/Day care oriented schools like St Paul's Nursery where there four class levels goes from Nursery 1 to Nursery 2 to Nursery 3 and then Nursery 4.
For more traditional school in Kowloon Tong, Nursery class is always K1.
