Just curious, how can 英皇華仁DGS 以 non Jupas 入？它們只有 DSE 成績！

Another reason is some applicants are graduates from well known overseas universities with first class honour.

For courses like medicine & law, IS students have to face competition not only from other IS students but also elite LS students (eg SPCC & DBS) who are doing IB as well as HK students studying in elite oversea schools (eg Eton, Winchester, Cheltenham Ladies'.......etc). With a smaller quota for non- Jupas applicants, this makes the task all the more difficult.

Just try to understand, if going the non-Jupas route is tough, why would LS elite school students want to do IB if their target is local U Medicine or Law?

Courses in medicine & law are tough to get in, whether through Jupas or non-Jupas.
But I would imagine that non-Jupas route might be easier for any other course, as a large percentage of IS students would aim at oversea universities and most HK students in elite oversea schools would not consider to come back to local uni for anything other than medicine or law. So overall probably less competition.
