I think the key to get into any international schools (kindy and P.1) is proficiency in English, and the kid is out spoken. I would never 'prep' a toddler for school interviews, cos it would only create pressure on the kid.
My son got admitted by ICS (many years ago) and other international schools because he can understand and communicate in English, and he did not cry and he did speak up. That's all.
I appreciate the fact that international schools do not have model answers for interviews. During the ICS interview, my son even said "why you asked so many questions? I am very tired". This might be a fatal answer in local school interviews, but when i heard the teacher telling me this conversation with a smile on her face, I knew my son had passed the interview. |
