Hi MCS parents,

My daughter has got a private school offer on hand where almost 100% of their pri. school kids can go back to its secondary. We are also very lucky to get the offer from MCS in lucky draw. They are both very good schools & they are both our dream schools.

After a week, still struggling on which one to go for with main concern on not MCS primary kids can go to its secondary. Hope to seek advise from current P4-P6 mamas to share if the battle is very tough on the game. If MCS kids cannot go to its secondary, where will they go?

明白你對升中的憂慮,作為過來人,我同意有一定壓力,競爭不少,但正如我在另一個post回覆你,有些事情在六年後,目前難以預料,但我相信你是有心的家長,定能好好處理。
至於不升讀中學部的同學去向,約六至八人會轉至DGS或其他學校,以前曾有去SPC,BPS,SPCC,但不是每年都有。
另外一批,多數去培道,九龍真光,去年有培基

Does that private school offer local curriculum as well? If yes, there is very high chance that MCS should be preferred, due to MCS' past record in local public exams. However, if that private school is running a non-local curriculum, it is a choice between curriculum and I would consider the girl's personality and strengths to decide which school is more suitable.
