上週六家長會, 有部份within15/200的同學有表. 其餘都無.  個d同學上兩週先去完珠海有個交流會, 香港隊只有我校同小女拔, 聽講English 聽及寫, 大家不相百仲, oral就唔夠人黎.

仲有收到風within 30/200的女仔, 大部份報St. Mary & MCS.  40/200 - 60/200 報九真.

去年囡囡升中之時，o羅過好多申請表；其中以女拔及聖瑪利需要先交個人資料才給申請表，因囡囡睇中三間女校___包括紅磚屋(去到門口參觀，已經有保安遞上申請表…)；但一女豈能嫁三夫？最後由我家最高決策人(老婆…)決定“聖瑪利”！！因為近佢公司喎…最後囡囡當然是  “鎩羽而歸…！幸好亞爺派餅之時，還有紅磚屋肯收留…真是一額汗了…

如果我搵到，一舊骨頭價錢讓俾你o羅...

論環境，紅磚屋仲好過 St. Marys，妳囡囡呢云真係恨死隔離！
咁當然佢都有番咁上下斤兩啦！如果唔係邊有 application forms 喎！

Do you know how those famous schools assess applicants from international schools?  There are no position in class or in form for reference, they only have grades in ABC...

請問點解唔係個個可以取得申請表? 因小囡現為準小一生, 記得報考小一時, 是你想攞就會有的, 難道中學會不一樣? 請指點迷津. 謝謝.

For secondary, as the kids are already P.6, they have very solid academic reports for screening.  The schools do not want to interview all applicants (too many), so will review your reports first, then if meet the initial requirements (ranking top 10% or so), they will give you the form and allow for interview.  I think this is acceptable as this avoid wasting time and affort for both the schools and the applicants.

Our school report shows ranking before 60/200, if you want to know the ranking but not within this range, we can ask the teacher & they will VERBALLY tell us a range within 10, eg. 110-120 or 135-145....etc.  This is important for getting know the banding of our kid.

不過問題又來了: 若果真的以名次排, 對一些資質不算十分出眾的小朋友來說, 豈不是讀一般小學會比讀有名小學, 較為"著數"? 因為一般小學不似名牌小學般"高手如雲"嘛......
