你可以到考評局網頁,便會清楚考試時間,報名截止時間及所需費用。考琴時間可以揀4/5月,或8月至11月中兩段時間,但不能揀某一日子,例如你揀8至11月中此段時間,若安排得早,便會暑期考,但若安排得遲,則可能開學後,要看運氣而定。你問鋼琴老師,你的意思是伴奏?應該與小提琴老師商量,他/她應該有建議或介紹,小女去年十月中考三級,與一位富經驗的鋼琴老師夾兩三次便可以了

如果安排明年八月考,不用咁早約鋼琴老師,先練好小提琴,小女的鋼琴伴奏老師其實是夾開小提琴老師的學生,我不肯定他會否接其他學生的伴奏。還有很多時間,先與小提琴老師商量吓先

you can apply for the ABRSM exam for 2014Aug in the beginning of 2014 (normally around Feb to Mar). No hurry!
It is very easy to apply for the exam online. Just need to prepare for the file of your HKID / birth cert that smaller than 500k.

想問大家考3級&2級有何分別呢?

老師見意因第1次參加公開試, 先考2級先, 試一下小朋友實力

  我也打算按排小兒明年暑假先考2/3級試

Other than  the pieces would be longer and a bit more difficult, scale in different keys and sight reading might in more keys + more rhythmic patterns.   Aural is very similar. (only sing notes in octave for grade 3 and 5 notes in grade 2, must ask Major/minor in grade 3)
