１）政府的傾向是減少�甚至不再資助ESF，到時你們有何打算？
The worse senario is: the School fee will be raised to 40% more.
The not so bad senario is: the schools cut cost to maintain the fee.

Other possibilities:
New school fee may only apply to new students, it is suggested by previous ESF CEO.  The new CEO, Dr. Mak, said this is only a personal opinion of the previous CEO.    Dr. Mak is working hard to safe guard the present grant allocation.

- Some ESF students can get a place in some famous traditional schools.  I think, some famous schools may also welcome students with excellent command of English.  ESF students may help to win medals from English debate and recitation.  I heard  some successful examples.

２）若不讀ESF，有那間比較好的國際學校，但又不用買債卷的．

Yes, i will send him to UK after F.7 (Year 13) for university.

Depends.

Stay away from local learning system, they are very sick, and i was used to have my education in UK, so i strongly prefer my kid to go ESF.

教局指英基同意撤資
(綜合報道)
(星島日報報道)審計署揭發英基浪費金錢糊塗帳，但主席麥列菲菲堅持學校應獲資助，被教統局即場「踢爆」雙方早已協議逐步撤資，只是未有積極執行。有議員提出英基可以考慮轉直資，但教統局常任秘書長羅范椒芬表示，學校須減收一萬元學費方合乎資格，現有待新任行政總裁上任後，再商討資助模式。

　　政府帳目委員會昨日繼續聆訊英基事件，主席麥列菲菲認為英基六七年按條例成立，有關資助條款仍然適用。不過，教統局副秘書長謝凌潔貞即場拿出證據，指出學校○○年經已同意利用十三年時間，讓政府完全撤銷資助英基。

　　麥列菲菲卻企圖「翻案」，表示有關協議只是前任行政總裁的決定，未經內部廣泛諮詢，此言即惹起局方及議員不滿，謝凌潔貞認為不應視承諾為戲言，劉江華議員則批評英基出爾反爾。

　　其後鄭家富議員查詢教統局撤資的立場，並提出英基考慮轉制直資。教統局局長李國章表示，有待英基行政總裁二月履新後，將商討資助問題。羅范椒芬補充，英基須減收每名學生一萬元學費，方符合轉制直資條件。

　　對於劉江華議員進一步查詢英基能否改為資助學校，李國章說﹕「如果英基接受，我們會考慮，不過他們似乎想無皇管，但錢照收。」

　　麥列菲菲表示，英基暫未就資助模式進行討論，但歡迎接受當局監管。李國章卻質疑英基改革的誠意，直言「跟它們(英基)接觸兩年，我感覺它們想玩

I understand that the cut on subsidy will certainly affect ESF's financial resource.

Yet, I still hope that the entire burden will not be suffled on the shoulder of parents. ESF should seek to streamline its financial management to an extent that unneccesary luxury is eliminated (if there is any), vacanted premises disposed, excessive remuneration cut down....  

All in all, don't want to see ESF raise the school fee for covering up the short fall.

No idea of any good one without the need to purchase debenture.

I plan to send my kids to boarding school hopefully in their early secondary schoolings.
４）ESF若果真的無政府資助的時候，你們仍會考慮ESF嗎？

I would insist to keep my kids in ESF as long as I could afford the fee.

５）甚麼因素令你送小朋友入ESF？

Enjoyable learning environment, encouragement of creativity, no heavy burden of school assignment & most important of all - a suitable platform to learn English.

其實好睇係邊區的ESF，唔係間間都一樣好，前幾日睇見翁靜晶閙佢個女讀緊果間行政好混亂，不過無寫到係邊一區。
