其實主科中英數要求合格是正常，我覺得合理。
如果連主科唔合格，硬比小朋友升上褔中，都跟唔到程度啦。

According to the standards accounced to students and parents, in general, even a student failed in one of the major subjects, he/she can be considered for a place in secondary school. In fact, it's not sth uncommon for a student of upper grades to get a 'fail' in 1 or 2 major subjects. To cope with the school's 'strategy', both students and parents hv to 'tune' their perception on 'marks' when they go to the upper grades.

Do y mean the general academic standards of the upper grade students are not good. So they have a lower marks or the school simehow mark down syudents in general?
