my son is taking ymca playgroup (kingspark) also.  and i found the teacher is nice and the programe is organized.  as compared with other playgroups my son attended before, this is the best choice.  they do not only sing many different songs each class, but also provide snack and juice to train them serve themselves.  and have outing per each term.  highly recommend!

toddler's world (for 1.5-2.5 yrs old).  actually this programme is available in both kingspark and tst ymca.

As far as I know, Toddler's World is catered for kids from 1.5-3years old.  TST is more conveniently located and has better facilities.  Kings' Park, on the other hand, has a very spacious classroom and comfortable outdoor play area.  TST should be a better choice if classes are conducted during the winter months but I will definitely go for Kings' Park if your kid is the very active type, loves to run around and enjoys outdoors.  Most of the teachers are Indians but are extremely experienced in coping with young children.

agree with danielboy's comments.  i take kingspark campus just because i live there and my son likes the teacher sooooo much.  i believe tst one is more well-equipped and with more choices.

Mine is 10 months old now and I'm also looking playgroups for her.  Anyway, does anyone have the phone no. or the website of YMCA?  Besides, does YMCA offer FREE trial class?  Thanks!!

I just visited the YMCA website and discovered that the fee of the Toddlers Class is $4,800...is it right???  So expensive?

That's the fee for one term, i.e. 3 months.  We pay $7,300 (non-member) for Jan-Mar and my daughter goes there Mon-Fri.  The fee already includes an apron, a school bag, a rhryme book, a cap and a towel. They also offer a light snack and juice/Yakult in each class.  They don't charge extra for parties or outings either.  But for end of term parties, they would want each child to bring some food to share with others.
