I never speak up in this forum. After the "consultation", I can't be silent anymore.
1. It was a total disappointment if last Saturday's 45 mins briefing was in fact a "consultation". It was a one way talk only.
2. She didn't explain how's the school curriculum and syllabus to be changed when becoming DSS. Where will the extra funding go? Emphasis was put on students' conduct as a benefit of becoming DSS. I really don't see a school needs to change to a DSS in order to "improve" conduct. We like to know how's the funding is going to enhance school's program, ECA, teaching quality etc.
3. If consultations have to be done across stakeholders in order to get her DSS plan approved by EDB, then we have to speak up to express that we're not satisfied with such.
4. Referring to the example of Heep Yun, get PTA involved seems necessarily to express opinions in an effective way.
