我想知咁讀上去係咪都係要讀國際學校?同埋學費係幾多?貴嗎?
Yes, this is an international kindergarten adopting UK National Curriculum, Mandarin (Chinese) is taught as a second language. It's up to international school standard but not the local ones.
You may check the school fees here: http://www.edb.gov.hk/FileManager/EN/Content_514/216178.pdf
$48,200 per annum for kindergarten.
Of course it depends on your own choice, but most children will go to international schools after K2, some of them will stay for K3 too because they didn't receive offers from their desired schools, so they stay at YMCA for another year to wait for vacancies.
If you're aiming local primary schools but would like to send your child to YMCA, then s/he may need to take extra Chinese classes after school as the Chinese lessons and standards only fulfils international schools requirements. As long as your child could manage Chinese well, it shouldn't be a big transition problem from YMCA to local P1.
But please bear in mind that 99.99% international kindergartens are activity/play based and children are more relaxed in class compared with local kindergarten, therefore your child may found some difficulties in adjusting him/herself from a play based environment to a traditional classroom in local P1.
