回復 mamath 的帖子

YC ITLP, needless to say.

My baby went to both, YC is much more superior than TT.

I know why you dislike TT but talking about the program structure only, I think it is quite good.

Choice is a personal preference n sense
But objectively , I will look more about the whole school structure n their philosophy of education. Teachers can always leave the school

Nowadays parents are wise

My child used to attend TT, not value for $, $1800/4 classes is far too expensive with such teaching quality. Teachers no heart at all, couldnt draw the interest of kids and the classes had no fun at all, everything very routine.  After i quitted the class for months, i bumped into another parent whose child still attending TT pg, he told me that the pg still making the kids to sing the same songs, and he wasnt happy about this and would quit too.

Really?  My son has been in TT playgroup for almost 6 months but he enjoys the lessons a lot.  He is attending 2 lessons per week.  The teachers we met were good, attractive to kids.  My son learns to sit well for story time and is able to react to questions though he's still too young to speak yet.

Honestly I don't mind repeating songs or even stories, as long as kids enjoy and can learn from these.  Revision is needed for this age.   If your kid is close to 2, maybe he/she will feel bored after attending for a year.

Talking about program structure, I find it quite good actually, with story and singing time, physical time, tea time, singing time, etc.  In other playgroups we tried, it usually take 2 hours to accomodate these elements.  I am not a fans of TT and won't apply for its PN or KG.  But objectively speaking their playgroup is running in a organised and funny way.  Even my helper and my mum who accompany my kid to attend find the time in TT runs faster.

I recall that YC is not cheap, should be comparable to TT.
