My kid went to interview at KJS and we were told that the school has invited 84 children for waitlist interview (on top of those with guaranteed place).  My kid falls within the last 25% of the waitlist. Does anyone have any idea how likely my kid will be offered with a place if he passes the interview?  Anyone know last year's situation?

last year they invited 100 children for waitlist interview.  around 30 children cleared the list in early Feb and the rest were also clear eventually by May.  As KJS's catchment zone includes Tung Chung area, many of them will finally choose DC.  Some of those on waitlist who passed the interview but unable to secure a seat by Feb may also choose other IS as parents do not wish to waste the school deposit.  Last year as I know several kids failed the interview too.
