Honestly, yes it's a bit late as the second round of interview is going to take part this Saturday. Anyhow, why not just give it a try see if there'll still be some more placements left?Good luck!

同意 ， 適合是十分重要。 Yes, keep in touch about any question on 中文學習， 到你小朋友入學時，CAIS應該可讓父母選擇簡體或繁體教中文，又或者是全面繁體吧！

Hi ILBC, 不是自私， 因為我們都在香港生活，四周接觸的都是繁體，希望學繁體是理所當然。 全面學繁體的機會很大，因為今年G1已經全面繁體教中文了，我們真的很期待  {:1_1:}

學了繁體,好易學簡體.但由大陸來的標準普通話老師識唔識教繁體就好大問題?

我自己比較喜歡繁體，覺得字形漂亮又有意思。另外，坦白說我不會簡體，恐怕幫不上！

Sorry if I misled you with the term 'desired personslity'!
What I meant is that since CAIS is a Christian school which brings all-round education for individual development with faith, I believe they choose the right candidates not simply because they're smart, active, outspoken with brilliant academic results or whatever people usually think advantageous, but the whole person with positive attitudes, potentials, etc. they would consider.  
Having said that, good communication skills are important after all.

Thank you for your reply.  What factors or things to do that might increase the chance of succeeding in the interview as my daughter's character seems to be similar to yours - a bit quiet in front of strangers, shy, not speaking up but she cares other people's feelings and a good heart, just that it might be difficult for her to express these good characters of hers at the stressful environment of 45-minute interview in front of interviewers...

Any idea about dds/private schools that you had in your mind to apply in case your daughter did not get admitted (COngratulations to you that your daughter got admitted to CAIS)

I'm not the best person to give you any suggestions of getting a spot at CAIS for sure since my little one was just on the waitlist after the 1st round interview.
I know it would not be easy for a quiet kid to "win" among the others within a short period of time, say 45-60 minutes. I just told my girl that it's a play day and all the teachers were very friendly and caring, just felt free to talk and play happily there. However, I never put her in any interview claases , just be herself! I believe the professional teachers would discover the potential inside your daughter.


By the way, Creative, Chan's Creative, ICQM and HKUGA are those which I think are suitable for my daughter. Just to remind you, ICQM starts application of admission for 2014-15 in Mar.

囡囡都係23／3 早上 interview...當時都係話3月1日出信， 不過我昨天下午就收到email 通知， 正式信今天會寄出。希望你都快D 收到通知！

My son has been admitted to G1 too! We  received email on Thursday which stated that letter would be sent out on 1 March!

Hi ILBC,  想請問你封waiting list letter是怎樣寫的? 我那封話要等second round in完先知有冇offer, they said they will confirm between 5 Mar - 30 Mar. 十分羨慕你可以那麼早收到通知及獲得offer

我封同你封有少少唔同，係話1st round後或2nd round後通知，27/2-30/3.
