剛才朋友講我知，今天剛收到信叫佢去interview呀！我諗係second round 有得in！

我個仔同你女女一樣！
咁我地米要等second in完左，再有位剩先有機會有offer?

沒有什麽backup plan, 因我不是一定要女兒入IS. 女兒本身性恪內向、被動和缺乏自信，但直率、天真善良，需要很多關顧及鼓勵，在熟悉和有安全感的環境下才可稍為表現自己，而老師們亦認為IS可給予更多空間去慢慢發展。但考慮到各方面問題, 我只報了RC及CAIS. 自覺CAIS很適合小女，如失敗，就唯有考愉快學習，課程適中的直資/私校了。你小朋友會讀NIS嗎？

Yes..need to submit this with application form...but if any difficulities can talk to the admin lady to let them know

anyone got invitation for attending final round of interview for prep from CAIS today?  Can any parents share experience of the details of  MockClass Activities?  I learnt that there are quite a high number of Japanese students there?  what makes them an advantage to get in CAIS? Our daughter is Japan/HK mix so am interested to know...she is shy in front of strangers so we are worried that she will not speak up at all during the interview...

How many spaces are still available by the way at this point of time?

Our daughter is in K2 this year and if she fails, should she repeat K2 again and try the various primary for IS again next year? Or try the local stream-DDS/private?

THanks for input in advance.  (My husband can read Cantonese so please feel free to reply in Cantonese)

My daughter didn't tell me much about the interview, just some usual sessions such as story telling, drawing, asking about shapes, colours, etc. My girl is quiet too, I believe CAIS picks the right students with the desired personality they want.
Can't really tell how many placements left at the moment, just keep fingers crossed and good luck!

You have to consider if CAIS or other IS would still accept your application for preparatory level one year later, since they usually accept admission according to the year of birth. Children who were born in Nov/Dec may be exceptional cases I'm not sure. You have to clarify with the schools.


Getting a spot in a good local school is another tough game, may be even more harder I can imagine !

ILBC, 兩年之前我同你心情一樣，我去四周尋找關於CAIS資料， 多數評語都是好的。入學時都係希望沒有為小朋友選擇錯誤學校。讀了半年，我小朋友大大改變閱讀習慣，由於學校風氣影響或效應，她十分喜歡閱讀。加上CAIS 的英文環境非常好，我女兒的英文十分流利，老師好專業， 有愛心！我們真的覺得小女兒入了CAIS很幸福 :)

真的好！從來沒有最好，只有最合適便好！雖然我們不是基督徒，仍相信在充滿愛和快樂的環境下成長很重要，不需催谷，讓小孩可以慢慢發展，發掘自己興趣、專長和理想。更不需要跟別人比較。我對女兒及CAIS都好有信心！
遲些可能要向你請教關於中文學習的問題。謝謝！
