St. Cat vs. 維記 : 入那類小學

維記幼稚園畢業生年年去咗邊，學校網站好清楚登出黎：

請問有冇人清楚St. Catherine's 有冇類似資料，我可以在那處找到？謝謝！


其實好想知道，SC 有冇小朋友讀完真的入國際學校，同埋入邊幾間⋯
始終佢係叫自己做International Kindergarten嘛。。。

有家長講過話St Cat比d已收的家長看過一些slide，係講升小一情況，都係果d名小。有家長話好impressive，但就無實數。

St Cat係有學生去IS的，識兩個讀完K2去了啟新（RC）。

Renaissance 係ESF黎架喎！讀得SC即係識中文，咁即係以Catergory 2 身份入啦。Cat 2都入到又幾叻喎！

不過ESF按birth year入學 (Jan 1- Dec 31)，而今年SC K1 咁衰又收到Sept30，而我個仔係11月出生的，所以就算入SC都變咗入PN做大仔，注定同RC無緣⋯

除咗ESF外，唔知仲有冇其他IS收過SC學生呢？家長們請多多指教！

RC係吳計category的，與其他ESF schools不同，你可以安排去school tour聽吓睇吓鍾吾鍾意。
因為學校較新，學術水平可能吾及其他英基學校。

謝謝你的資料! 不過如果我個細b真係入SC PN變大B (如果收的話), 咁所有ESF我都唔駛唸啦... 其實有好幾間IS都會有問題... 睇黎想入IS就唔可以遲一年讀K1... (因為他們大部份係好正常地12個月span收生，唔似本地咁奇怪16個月span，不過有啲係用Sept1-Aug31, 有啲就Jan1-Dec 31計。)　無論如何探探RC都好，thank you!!

P1 allocation results reported by each school (if they choose the release the information), is collected from the parents of each K3 student. Of course, there might be minor descrepencies (ie. parents 'jumping train' last minute), but we more or less get the big picture of where the kids will end up in general. Would the parents choose to lie? Would the school choose to tweak the report? Well i guess it's all based on an honour system similar to people lining up for the bus... ;)
Any parent who knows more about how the 'P1 allocation reports' are executed do let us know.

From these days' research, I found that it is never safe to expect the kindergarten help the kid enter the target P1.
If kid is the best one of the "last ranked" KG, he/she still can go to the best P1. If kid "ranks the last" of the best KG, he/she may have to wait for the result of 大抽奖。
"Good KGs" do help a lot, however, education must be life time work.

Point well made. Knowing where the kids go to in primary mainly helps with gauging what kind of teaching the kindie provides. ie. if most kids in kindie A go to international and kindie B go to local, and your target school in international, then it's no point putting your kid in kindie B. I'm saying this as a general situation, of course there're always exceptions. In the end it's about how well the child himself do and how the parents educate him.
it's just that given i know where all Victoria kids are going, it'd be nice to have a list from St. Cat as well, so that they're given a fair comparison. 我覺得奇怪點解SC冇一個list, 定係我唔知道係邊度搵...?
