i let my child attended play gym when she was about 9 months, mainly for fun, playing w other babies and motor skills training. she enjoyed it very much and she played in pg for over galf a year. ididnt expect she learnt a lot, but u know....she did learn in pg...for examples. she learnt how to tidy up, feel ok when separation with toys, not shy when meeting others etc.  its a bonus to me! now she is nearly 1.5 years old and i just stopped the play gym, will enrol her for play group...learning some other skills like self care and big fine motor and some routine!
