我相信有些不用2nd in 就會有offer,  因為1st interview 封信係咁寫:

2nd Interivew: In some cases before making our final decision, we may request an applicant to attend a 2nd interview.

actually after the first interview, we received the same note from the teacher, saying that everybody will receive final accept/reject later before 30 nov. at that time, i thot there will be no 2nd interview. so a bit surprised to have a 2nd interview email.

我自己睇封信既感覺係。。。marginal case需要re-assess先會有2nd IN.  
無2nd IN即係己決定得定唔得。

I don't know why I was under the impression that for kids who they may consider - there will be a second interview.....
