violin exam

Yesterday, my son's violin teacher told me that she wanted my son to take the violin exam this year in Aug.

Can someone pls advise me how the exam is conducted and what will be tested? Any syllabus and requirements? Is it very difficult?

I believe your son's teacher refers the ABRSM (    皇家音樂學院) exam which covers alot of musical instruments and singing etc.   You may go to 考試局website , www.hkeaa.edu.hk

and then look for "other exams).
