阿仔3歲3個月，成日都會自己睇書，臨瞓前最少要求我o地講一本英文書、一本中文書。有時佢encore就會講多一本。

其實幼兒閱讀係培養佢對閱讀o既興趣，只要佢係有興趣，佢自然會想學書入面的知識和字詞。但係首要，都係父母o既態度。如果父母伴讀時也顯出對書本好有興趣，小朋友自自然然地都想知多D，繼而問多D，最後真係學多D。

先享受閱讀的樂趣，培養閱讀o既習慣吧!

大嗰個...聽歌學認字，自動波，所以講故事書唔駛指住，到e+無定講乜書，總之講完先肯瞓，曳嗰日罰佢無故事聽，會喊到cc吓，叫佢"讀" 故事就英文好聽過中文

I think the most important thing is to develop the children's reading habbit and their passion on reading.  So, story books should be better than 生字書.  生字書 could be quite boring and kill the child's reading interest.  Don't worry, as long as the child likes reading, vocabulary should not be a problem at a later stage.

My child used to like reading story books and encyclopedia when he was in KG.  He likes clicking the sound button in the encyclopedia and listen to the contents and special sound effect.  We don't have books everywhere, but we have a cabinet just for kids.  The kids like choosing books from the cabinet by themselves.  

Now my elder one is in P.1.  The school work keeps him so busy that I sometimes need to stop him from reading.  His favourite reading time is the (extended) toilet time, during which I also need to limit the number of books that he can read.  Sometimes I think that I have not done my job very well and something must have gone wrong, how can I ever stop him from reading.

By the way, wish to add that my boy looks very charming when he is reading.  He pays high attention to the story and his face is full of curiority and interest.  From how he reads the book, how he turns the page and his facial expression, you can see that he has a very good reading habbit and he truely loves reading.  The reason that I add the above is that for some primary school interview, reading could be part of it.  There is no magic over night, not something about interview class, but bit by bit during daily life.

由NB開始我每日都同囝囝講故事, 而家囝囝2歲3個月, 每晚會講3-5個故事 (大約20-30分鐘), 我覺得佢都算鍾意睇書的, 每朝坐potty時都習慣比本書仔佢睇, 見佢真係逐頁睇, 唔會轉頭掉咗本書去

My son is 2 yrs old and I am a FT mom and whenever I am free and he wants, we read story books, repeat and repeat but he only enjoys reading at home, when he goes to the library ..he just keeps on running running and running....by the way, he loves eating, all the books he likes mostly about food, eating and birthday party..haha

im FTM, i spent my everyday playing with my son, who just turned 2. i started reading to him since he was 2 months old. (Its like reading to a wall) my son loves reading. He havent started recognising words, but he has a lot of vocab. He speaks in full sentence at about 22 months old. For a boy, thats not bad. Now I can go anywhere pick up a book (which i know he will be interested in) and he concentrates in reading till i finish it. sometime i can read to him over an hour. Sometimes. we does 3 to 5 stories in a day. story before Bed time is a must. My son must pick a book to read before he zzz.
