My son studied in a class 36+ for 9 years and then in small class ~15 for more than 2 years. I can see the difference, particularly at senior level.

Of course, the school needs more resources, like classroom, teachers and TA, the most critical one is the standard and teaching method of teachers. If cut down the class size still using traditional teaching method(s), it doesn't help much. If all requirements are in place, the throughput (students) can be much better.

同意你的深入分析,我估計教育局及專家有接近看法。
實質上有那些可行的暫時解決方法,當然要打破高官擔心教協的坐大及政治力量。

教育的"烏托邦".....
小班教學以外,還有很多配套,才可以產生果效。我都看見小兒在有質素的小班教學中茁壯成長......

妳的雞口牛後道理,是有機會的。
但不要忽略好多學生是博奕錯誤,而失去機會,特別是Band 1 邊緣人。在 Band 2,選科較保守,入到低要求學科機會高些。

大學學位 = 成績+ 博奕 + 幸運
