要睇學校, 有啲好睇細佬妹表現, 差少少都唔會收, 有啲會盡量收返, 即使表現差少少都會收.

Some schools formally provide another queue for siblings; some schools provide special consideration for siblings (e.g. guarantee final interview); while some other schools explicitly state that they would not provide any special consideration for siblings.  So, it really depends on the policy of each school.

我識有個家姐讀DG, 細妹唔收。有個家姐CO EDU, 細佬唔收。有個哥哥ST STEPHEN'S, 細佬唔收, etc.......... 唔好話小學啦, 幼稚園都係咁, 有個哥哥KV, 細佬唔收......

所以我識一個專業人士, 陳守仁收左佢女最後都冇讀, 比個女去一間有直屬中學既津貼學校, 因為有個妹跟尾, 而佢覺得阿妹冇家姐咁SMART, 買個保險穩陣D......

That's the unfair part of the game. If the first child is in a 直資, the second child may not have the privilege of getting in the 直資 as those in 津貼學校. But these second child deprives the 5 marks as those who are first born. So they probably can't get a place in those good school.

Totally agree. No system is perfect. That's why we need to learn rules of the game and don't let our ignorance to deprive the chance of our kids. I've gone through this and lucky 'sail' my way safely. Hope all other BK parents can do it as well.
