【明報專訊】2013年大學聯招昨日起接受報名，今年科大調整收生策略，商學院由原本學院收生，改為將「皇牌主修」環球商業管理分拆獨立收生，並列明期望學生文憑試成績獲英文5級或以上，以及3科5**。校方解釋是因部分學生希望可獲保證入讀該課程而分拆收生，但升學專家估計科大希望取錄尖子入讀該課程而獨立收生。

學友社學生輔導中心總幹事列豪章表示，若透過學院收生，尖子在大二可能改選其他主修，變相令環球商管的學生質素下跌，相信科大今次將課程分拆，並表明收生成績是希望吸引尖子報讀。

根據大學聯招網頁，科大今年課程數目由4個增至6個，新增課程包括環球商業管理以及另一新課程「國際科研」。在舊學制年代，環球商業管理是科大以往收生成績最高的課程，2011年高考收生成績中位數為4A1B，不過由於科大改行學院收生，因此首屆文憑試收生時環球商管與其他商科主修合併收生。

首公布各主修收生上限

今年科大再次將環球商管分拆，學額30個，基本入學要求是核心科「4332」另兩個選修科3級，但同時在聯招網頁列明，期望（normally expected）學生擁有3科5**以及英文5級或以上，相當於高考3科A級、英文C級或以上。

另外，科大商學院今年首次公布各主修的收生上限，該課程明年預計取錄685名新生，最多學額的主修是市場學，有215個，而熱門主修計量金融則只有30個學額，另額外25個環球商管學額，專供報讀商學院課程的學生申請。

學生要求「保證入讀」

科大協理副校長兼學務長譚嘉因解釋，經歷首屆文憑試收生後，有部分好成績的學生反映，希望可保證入讀環球商管，另有學生要求校方公布商科主修學額，因此新一輪聯招收生作出上述調整。他補充，無論學生報讀環球商管，抑或選報商學院課程主修環球商管，兩者課程內容相同，首年需先修讀基礎課程。該校期望最遲在下月13日資訊日公布文憑試收生成績。

Talked to HKUST last year, they insisted they can get better students compared with HKU & CUHK....... in GB....

They learnt a lesson, don't trust UGC... UGC biased HKU & CUHK..

我認為科大太迂腐，時常跟足UGC的指引，最後多數俾UGC及兩大跣。例如，科大儍到將商學院的皇牌課程GB用學院制收生，到第二年後才知道主修GB或其他主修科。港大及中大將GB括免於學院制收生，所以今年星之子女全歸兩大手中，我已經提醒他們，他們以為UGC會公平處理，又是被人跣了。

我理解科大可能用magic line, 即HKDSE入學成績優異的學生，在第二年GPA達某個水平，會優先選科，例如GB，會計......

如果我是大學生，我當然立刻選中大，然後港大GB，無謂四年後先知道那一科畢業。

One bird in hand is better than hundreds in the forest! Especially, if I get good results. Why I take the risk?:tongue:

Facult enrollment means students need to compete again in year one for entering hot degrees eg. accounting rather than HR or marketing; EE instead of mechanical ...

it is really hard to understand or believe their logic. I believe there will be a mess next year when someone find out he/she cannot enter their target degree but someone can take same degree with poorer DSE results in another U.
In HK, credit transfer is not easy and what if after yr1, for example, I want to switch from HKU business - ( maybe HR) to uts( account)....

I believe it is an nightmare and it is just an begining

After UST's change of admission policy, my boy will put UST GB as top choice in UST NJ application.

FYI, CUHK also has double degrees in BEng and BBA. Generally, need to take one more year and all students are excellent in Yr 1 BEng and then opt for double degree.

題外話, 如是文科人, 只對文科有興趣 , 現修 中史/中國文學/英國文學,
比較想入中大, 除咗中文/中史外, 仲有咩選擇呢...
