They changed the format few years ago. In recent years, 1st interview was done in groups with teachers only. Students would be given different stickers and we were not sure whether this has some meaning. Then they shortlist to around 300 to be interviewed by the headmistress individualy.

Is the second interview being conducted by just the primary or both primary and secondary headmistresses?

No, but the headmistress opens the door and you can see your kid's performance at a distance. Only the primary school headmistress is present. The secondary school principal is Dr Kennard who join the school in 2006. The administration of the two schools are different. My kids was not studying in this school and my information is some years back. Hope some parents with kids studying in SPCPS can update the information.

last year only the primary school headmistress, and 2nd interview held in her room, parent sitting at front of the room (door is open), you can see all the performance. First, asking question to the children (last year asking my son about the what new do you know about typhoon no. 8 hoisted yesterday,  since the day before interview,  typhoon no.8 hoisted, a boat hit on the pier). Second, doing the puzzle, seems to be 七巧板, ask to make a same picture with the one she provided (black and white only ).

Aslo since the children need to sit on the sofa inside the school headmistress's room, you must train the children to sit properly on the sofa. otherwise..........

You mean in the first interview, they chose 300 of the children to see the headmistress in the first interview , or short list 300 to enter 2nd in ? Thanks

Yes, first interview only interview by teachers. Their policy is very open. They choose the suitable kids first, then the 2nd interview will be done by the principal. Only at this point, they will know you are related to the school or not. Sitting properly in the sofa is very very important.

A bit high for kids. Don't climb up the sofa!

Can't remember two or three seats. But definitely not one seat. (If they don't change the sofa over the years.)
