學術 - 冇教高一級或半級, 英文用校本課程,
小朋友思維 - 比較少抄寫功課
老師表現 - 唔知你想睇MUD
校風 - 冇MUD特別, 小學一間

其實我唔知家長點COMMENT＂校風麻麻＂. 校風好似好虛無，　有實例就易評好多。

我有去他們的簡介會, 在簡介會上, 講者都較少提及品德培養, 他們是天主教的學校, 如果是比較傳統的天主教學校, 會以聖經來培養小孩品德, 請問smc會有這類的培養嗎?? 學校的天主教氣氛似乎並不太強烈, 有家長可以講解一下嗎?? 謝謝!

They have life education and religious studies starting from P.1, Topics like be punctual, showing concern to others, protecting animals, my responsibilities, be a good citizen are covered in LE. So I would say the moral education is good.

All students need to attend school opening mass, Christmas Mass and school closing mass.

Are there many foreign students? What is the ratio?

Can the local Chinese students communicate well with those foreign students without much difficulties?

Principal said it's around 15%.
I cannot say for others, but I found no such problem with my daughter, whose from ordinary kinder. We speak Cantonese at home. She has no difficulties understand original english Disney Movie (e.g. Brave, Rapunzel) without subtitles.

cpcog wow, your daughter is doing great! I strongly doubt my daughter can really 100% understand those English movies without subtitles or not even she always claims she is able to do so. 發表於 12-9-21 11:46

個簡介會真係好一般, 差d 以為呢間係語言學校, 除左好著重語文, 其他好多野都無特別提. 我朋友一聽完, 覺得唔夠全面, 即刻話唔申請了. 我自己覺得都可以, 但要再了解多d其他學科的教學情況及水平.

I think we can't assess the school just by school management's presentation skills and content. Be fair.

NetB, I know you are trying to ask around questions for smc but the more you heard, the more you will think la! If u really want to know, my friend teach me try to observe by waiting outside the school at lunch time and after school and see how students behave! Opinion from different people are a subjective thing! Believe in yourself!

Thanks for your suggestion.
I can only observe the kids' behaviour but not the school matters.
At this moment, I can still "stand still".
