想請教有經驗的人士，dse personal statement 的字數是否300 之內？如果對兩個不同的學系有興趣，是否最好focus寫一個？

I would suggest that the personal statement should be around 500 to 700 words. If the words are too few, it may not cover the point you want to say. Or you may not elaborate the points fully, If the personal statement is too long, you may make the admission tutor boring on your personal statement.

It is better to focus on one subject than 2 or more subjects. If the choice of subjects are similar in nature, such as (1st) medicine, (2nd) biomedical science; (3rd) science, you will not be penalised by the admission tutors of your second or third choice if your application to study medicine is declined.
