有無子女讀緊 RWI by Oxford 課程, 好不好? 比D意見 .

想幫仔仔報讀RWI牛津英語課程, 但成300幾元一堂都唔平, 有無子女讀緊比D意見.  會否拖長來教?

RWI 主要包括聽,講,讀(有PHONIC),寫(SPELLING).
以我理解CAMBRIDGE 主要讀,寫
若有誤解可補充!

My son (3.5 year old) just joined RWI at TKO UNIKID. $270/class (discounted for 12 classes) he just finished one class last week and he likes it. He is the only student in the class and the teacher is a foreigner. Although I prefer there is 1-2 more students but there isn't any yet. The. Center don't mind to open one student class. Although I haven't see the result yet but I like RWI's concept of teaching phonics. My son studied letterland during his PN year in kindergarten and I believe he can pick it up fine.
Cambridge I believe is not focus on phonics.

我女K3開始返RWI，1年左右（因為搬屋返RWI遠左好多就停咗）對佢睇英文故事書，學校既默書都好有幫助

My boy will start RWI at Kiddikraft end of Sept, the 3.5 years old level, hope he will enjoy !

由最初個級開始，應該同入學年齡無關，因為我女係學Phonics，未讀過RWI既話都要由ABC發音學起

hi,  which course-  RWI  or Cambridge is better for 4 yrs old kid?

I attended ABC's briefing recently.  According to the principal, rWI focuses on writing and reading while Cambridge focuses on listening and speaking .  RWI requires kids be able to write lower case letters and 2 x 45 mins lessons per week. The syllabuses are made in accordance with the materials by the respective university press.  aBC makes a hybrid courses in view of the shortcomings of each of them and it is I-learn.  I applied Cambridge for my K2 girl as it fits my schedule.

我小朋友RWI由最低讀起，現在 pink books, 今年小一，佢英文底子打得幾好，好建議由K2讀起。

RWI 開初一兩年是著重phonics, 到後期高级些，比重去番寫作方面，所以是好適合K2 至 小一。
讀完中级後，我会轉去其它課程 。

教的有ABC, 亦有西人，讀了咁耐都滿意。
