Hello, anyone know what is the interview style for St Paul Convent K1?  And also when will be the 2013/2014 kindergarten application commcence?  Anybody know what is the primary allocation for the school?

So scary - just the children and teacher in the room for the interview?

in the month before the interview, tell her a hundred times that she will go inside to play with the teacher and other kids, and you will be waiting just by the door.

Is your child studying at St Paul Convent?  Do you know what is the primary allocation like?  

Do they allow some time for the children to adapt to the environment first prior to bringing them to the room and play?  Or do they just call the names of the children and then bring them in?  That's really a high expectation of the kids.  

Do you know what they do inside the room?  How long is the process?

Can't to be trained, just teach her in daily life! School has its own rule to select candidates, we have no ideas on knowing what and what can be selected.

But I do believe that all selected are very smarts!

The group has already been assigned when you show up on the interview day. A teacher first brought the 10 pairs of parent+kid into a classroom for waiting.  We were given a story book to read together while a teacher came around to each pair to check the names.  Shortly afterwards, we were asked to "shove" our kids into a nearby classroom.It happened so fast there was no chance for comforting words at the door.  The kids had to willingly walk in by themselves.  What went on during that 5+ mins is still a mystery to me.  
As my girl is only starting K1 next week, I'll leave the P1 question to others.

My girl cried in front of the classroom, she told me that teachers asked her name and then they played Lego (or toys)..... then 5 mins gone and she leave the classroom.

She is now in St. Paul's K1 am class.  I saw that all kids there are smarts, not many kids crying even the 1 few days to school.

It's really hard that the girl don't cry and go with the teacher.  Your girl is so smart that she can even tell you what she did inside the classroom.  how you train her?  is that go out with her more to let her see many people so that she's not that shy?  Or is that the character of the kid already determined and can't be changed?  I still wonder if I can really train my girl to be less shy and less easy to cry.
