Is English the main medium of teaching in the primary school? How about the Secondary Section?

Hi
I overheard that the school uses Putonghua to teach Chinese ( instead of Cantonese), and the sciences subject (from p3-p6) is taught in English.
Is the above correct?
Are there any other subjects taught in English?
