我兒今年9月升小六,全級160名同學,成績排名全級15名,多次參加奧數比賽,均獲獎,為學校田徑隊、籃球隊對員,跆拳道品段級,在會內比賽拿過冠軍,鋼琴4級,准備考6級,請問能否有機會入到英華

你阿仔條件好好，個人分享去年的经驗。英華收50個外來生，但有成千人報名。第一輪面試是小组討論(好似5至6人)，除自己實力外，还要睇運數，即是對手强弱，出綫後入第二輪。所以表現好緊要！希望幫到你。

沒有在外面打籃球，學校2012年的籃球校際比賽只獲第5名，上一屆為冠軍，可惜上屆我兒沒有參加。

I think you can also try DBS, LaSalle, St. Jo, Very good chance.

如果讀緊既小學唔算好差的話,放心!!!英華好大機會收你囝囝,反而你會唔會放棄LA SALLE / DBS / ST JO?

英華今年的面試題目唔算深，第一輪小組面試每人只得約4分鐘發言時間，實在太少。

去年英華揀了一篇中四基考中學中文科考試題目之李英豪的"心靈的汚染"是深過今年的入學試題目，比較tricky的地方是老師會叫個別同學讀2段，但討論時是問哂整篇文章，朩是他讀的2段，很多學生只留意他讀的2段便唔識答其他段的問題或comment其他同學的答案。

另外到2nd int對答或1st music aud時學生遇到唔識答的問題吩咐你的兒子唔好望家長，應一路都望老師。

阿仔比較鐘意YW,
可能會放棄LA SALLE / DBS / ST JO，不想給他太大壓力；抱著平常心去面對。

As far as I know, all those famous schools you mentioned only have about 60% HKDSE students qualified for JUPAS degree course (correct me if I'm wrong).

Such HKDSE results are indeed extraordinary average!

I also couldn't find evidence from their websites but my sons' friends studying these colleges conveyed these messages.

I only find Wah Yan's HKDSE results (62.7% 3322) from the following letter though Wah Yan Kowloon's website only releases the information of elite students.

La Salle, St Jo and Ying Wa usually put test results in their annual reports. You should be able to find out the DSE results when the 2011-12 ARs of these three school come out.
