請教各位家長，有25分是否好大機會喺自行收生階段入沙田浸信會呂明才小學？
即係同時又喺頭生子女，父母係舊生，仲有洗禮證、兒童奉獻證加牧師推薦信。
請各位幫忙！謝謝！

首名出生同舊生只可用一項
但有宗教分加舊生就有25分，so far未聽過有任何學校係25分入唔到！

30分或以上：必然可獲取錄。
25分：就算是名校，入讀機會亦相當之大。
20分：若選擇受歡的小學，應該要抽簽，中簽率要視乎個別學校的申請人數、「必然取錄」的餘額等不同的因素而定。
15分或以下：若申請受歡的小學，機會比較渺茫。

Iantsang replied to me that:

"The mechanism itself protected this from happening.

Even if there are such situation when there are too many applicants who have elder brothers/ sisters studying the primary school, the additional seats will not be taken from those quote for points system.  They will be taken from the central allocation plot.  And the reality is, this number is not as high as the media always said as they used a wrong way to calculate these numbers.

So, those with 25 points and even 20 points would have their chance protected.  The minimum these applicants would have is 20% of the total intake."

As such mechanism, 25 points will be involved in the lucky draw only when the number of 25 points applicants is more than 20% of the total intake.  The chance is quite small, and I haven't seen this ever happening, even for 兩呂.
