還是選科問題

小女理科成績不錯，以後考U的時候想試下報讀醫，所以選科就選了生物和化學。但係距又好中意物理，物理sir覺得她好有潛質讀好，叫她再考慮選物理。依家我想問下大家，如果她想讀醫係咪選生物和化學比較選化學和物理好呢？

想讀醫的，成績必然好，怎會只可選兩科，難道你們中學全部只可選兩科

A friend of mine, his daughter studies in a top local school, she also aims for medicine as first batch HKDSE student:
Her choices as follow:
Core subjects + M2
Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

After discussing with her last summer, I have the following suggestion for her:

Core subjects only, if two science subjects, why M2? Max is M1...... Her true response was, taking M2 can demonstrate her academic excellence..... Think about it !!!!

Play by the rules, read the prospectus and medical schools entry requirements carefully, Core + 2 or 3. If both stated max 3, I will suggest her to go for 3 subjects. In HKDSE, the university will bar the score only up to 3 electives.

If only two electives allowed, I will suggest Chemistry and Physics.

Yanamami  Bio is not required for studying Medi.?

Yes in HK only need or prefer Chem. Some HKALE students got into medicine based on Phy, Chem and Maths.

In UK, need both Chem and Biology, only India needs Phy, Chem, Bio...

讀醫，化學是必要的，至於選生物還是物理，可參考你女兒的興趣和成績，若物理較有把握拿高分，可選物理，化學，然後自習生物，這樣或者能做到兩全其美，即有較大勝算入醫科外又能有一定醫科基礎，當然，最好是學校通融選修三科，或者你可跟學校商量，你女兒成績好，或者有得傾

一定一定一定是化學和生物啦！就算失手，也可因為有化學而唸藥劑學！醫學院揀人時，如大家都6科5**，一定先揀有生物嗰个，物理是工程科主打。當然最好學哂三科啦！

It's good enough to take Chem in order to apply for medicine in HK. Better choose a subject that your daughter is interested in and will excel in.

如果做物理治療師可否只選生物？因她另一科想選會計！萬一生物讀唔掂，都有另一科選擇！對嗎？

小女揀物理仲因為讀得比生物好，比如以50分總分，她隨便睇下物理就到44~46再認真D就有48分以上，但生物就要喪破咁溫先有咁的成績，她擔心考U的時候生物成績吾夠人好拉低左D分影響埋無得揀學校同揀科哦。

我女其實chem 有五點幾六點分！生物都系五月分多d! 但最後揀左生物！但又不㨂化學！她說只對化學同會計有興趣！其實我想她揀化學同生物！唉，女大女世界！真系逼唔到佢

Sorry Revised - 我女其實chem 有五點幾六點分！生物都系五十分多d! 但最後揀左生物！化學高分些！但又不㨂化學！她說只對生物同會計有興趣！其實我想她揀化學同生物！唉，女大女世界！真系逼唔到佢 ！個人認為會計是商科加埋入去怪怪地！加上化學叻可以更多選擇！想問如只讀一科理，是否不能做物理治療師or 葯擠師？
