校舍英華女校比上智好, 名氣英華女校比上智高,老師和學生關係英華女校不及上智因見有人讚上智老師 ,但英華女校就不清楚...交通方便英華女校不及上智 ,以上個人見解,不合匆插.

收生方面是否英華要求較高? 英華將暫時搬往深水埗, 因此若成績允許想自行博一博. 始終英華是傳統名校水準有保證. 上智也是一所十心好學校. 而且較近屋企, 因此兩間都是心目中的選擇

其實有否想過那一間會適合你囡囡？我兩間簡介會都參加過,兩間校長都好有heart,兩位都各在現任學校唸中學,足見兩校的教學理念是多麽薪火相傳!
個人觀察上智比較唸書型,可能同校舍少地方有關。故小女都報了英華,等待中

我個女比較慢熱,上智及英華都沒小學, 她認識新同學比較易, 英華我不知同學會否大多來自富裕家庭, 因地處於中半山, 上智感覺比較平實D,而且她學校比較多同學派往去, 所以仍十五十六....不過仍然是要自她的成績才能作判定

因為校舍近屋企所以經常見到學生回校，英華女校絕對係一所平民學校，亦有鄰居的女兒讀這校，都是很樸素。

As Ying Wah will be temporarily move to Sham Shui Po, maybe some HK island students will not consider it and this is why I want to consider it (I am living in SSP)
BTW, if my daughter is Band 1 student but not the top ten in the school, do you think she has chance?? What kind of students Ying Wah like to take?

My child was interviewed by Ying Wa and SSGC 2 years ago, and was admitted by SSGC finally. I live in Central-Western disctrict and so SSGC was my 1st choice in round one.

Personally, I like Ying Wa more in your case. As your child is not on the same school zone (quota for cross-zone is much less), it's hard to enter except in round one (DP). For your child to be successful in round one, try to improve the interview skill of your child.

One more point to note is that Ying Wa will refuse to accept your designed portfolio, they accept the pre-formated application form only.

Yes, can only try in Round One and now thinking to put it in 1st choice and Holy Trinity in 2nd choice, but the most important thing is to push my daughter to get better result so to have the chance to be interview (she is in P5 now). Preformated application form means the form as from Ying Wah? I want to gather more information at this stage so I can be well prepare.

當英華女校公佈要臨時調遷校舍，確實給中西區的家長打亂陣腳。原本只須幾分鐘的路程(小女步行速度)，變成舟車勞頓，既然如此就改變整個選校計劃。但對英華女校的印象始終不變，樓主不妨一試。

少了中西區學生, 但多了我們九龍學生申請, 好學校搬到那裡也不愁學生.
其實英華上智是旦一間收都於願足矣....
只希望學校能有好的學習環境, 中學朋輩影響最為重要, 家長幫不了什麼,最多只可鼓勵她們.另外中學是人生中最重要階段, 人的價值觀亦是在這時建立...

四年後英華調返校舍去中西區，MTR港島西線已開通至般含道，只是一路之隔便到羅便臣道。

插吓咀!今年我都有去這兩間學校的簡介會,(因為她們都是我明年報自行的目標之二),兩間學校都真係好好好好好,對上智更是'驚為天人'!

有一點要提提樓主,如果上智是你杯茶,記住一定要去聽簡介會!

I went already. I didn't go to Ying Wah but it is one of the top school for girls. Honesty, HTC should be more fit my girl because we are very close to it and many of the students in her school allocated to HTC. But every mom wants to get the best for their kids, so if her result is good enough to try Ying Wah, I have no reason no to consider it. BTW, if MTR opens in 2016, it is really a good news to us.

johnnywalker 港島西線應該2014年就會通車啦，到時去到西營盤站可以行上去(10min)或搭兩個站巴士都得。發表於 12-6-2 23:59

Oh! Really! If you like both YWG & HTC, why not put them both in 明年報自行? For my girl, she does not belong to this district! We really need to consider more! Regarding the opening of the Island West Line, it can really save the travelling time!

BTW, let's work hard for the coming exam!
