My private family doctor told me not to conduct assessment test at private centres coz they may have bias and not objective enough due to their business nature.  

I urge him to write a letter for me to CAC.  I may need to wait for six months.  For my case, my kid is now 26 mths and previously played with his eyes and keeps running thru and fro inside the house with slow speech skill and limited eye contacts.

I brought him to Mother Health Centre bf and the doctor told me that he seems ok (coz my boy did blow kiss to her and look at her a bit) and I only need to keep close monitoring on his development.

For recent two weeks, he has more single words and more eye contacts only when keeping a distance with us.  No more playing eyes.  He seems to understand all our instructions, can use fingers to point at things he has interested, will say hi and blow kiss when requested, will come to the door to say 'Mum' to me when I return home.  

He is fear of new thing, such as swimming and go to the beach.  Before that he does not like swing, but now it's better if I hold him on the swing.  He will play with my elder kid and like playing peekapoo, hide and seek, etc.  When read books, he will imitate the actions of the picture shown.

I will plan to study pn for coming Aug.  Now should I wait and make observation?  Really have no much knowledge coz I'm not professional and the private clinic doctor said that I am over worried and too sensitive!!!

You can go to Heep hong to book a special education teacher assessment session. It is cheaper and objective. Heep hong will refer to psychologist after assessing by special education teacher if needed.

How many vocabulary he has? You may need speech therapy if the progress is not good.

我既經驗係去私家做,排左位先。cac就照排。其實,我經驗係私人好過公家,不過真係視乎你遇到咩人咩醫生。私人也要選有經驗,最重要係能幫你入紙排期的。
