Miss Skilton mentioned in class that "Charlie and Chocolate Factory" is one of her favourite when she taught poems. Previously my daughter showed no interest to this book even though I told her there are many funny stuff in the story, but right after Miss Skilton's sharing, she picked the book up and started reading. . . Teachers are so influencial!!!

Kittymummy, it's not a teaching material, but just a sharing of favourite book from teacher. And this act make children interested to have a look at it and the author. I know some students alreadying reading this book in P.1, but there are also students that are not yet into it. again every child is different.
