My girl is now studying in St. Nicholas K1. I think the school is very good and I am happy that I have chosen the right kindergarten for her. All the teachers there are very caring and even the Principal is very freindly and caring. I can see the principal / supervisors almost everyday and chating with parents and students. They always share useful daily information with the parents about their children in class so that the parents will know how their children are doing at school. As for the curriculum, i think it is not too easy ( students have to learn how to write quite a few chinese characters already ). My girl's english has improved a lot too, since the school has a NET teacher and every week there is a show and tell.
In conclusion, I think St. Nicholas is a very good school and I am very satisfied with the school. Hope this info can help you.
Thanks, mickeymouse2000, for your information. May I have more details about how you feel your gal's English is like now? Is she able to manage simple conversation in English. My concern is if I put my kid at Greenville, his class teacher will speak to him in English only, thus forcing him to practice spoken English. But in St Nicholas, class teachers speak to them in Cantonese.
I can see my girl's english has improved a lot and she can communicate with us with simple / correct english sentences. My girl is a small b and St. Nicholas has a small class ( 19 -20 students each class with 2-3 teachers ) and they can take care of the students very well, especially for small b.
