聖心 VS 聖士提反女子

兩間係咪一條龍?只知聖心小學勁多功課,聖士提反女子多數收old girl,好似無咩人講,大家對呢兩間學校(幼稚園,小學中學)有咩意見?

聖士提反女子小學係津小，幼稚園收生基準寫明按小學計分制，所以舊生女兒或有家姐讀緊優先，百無人仕就算入到幼稚園小學大抽獎都未必入到，所以唔可以話係龍校。聖心小學有私立部，會盡量收幼稚園學生，幼稚園收生亦主要睇performance而唔係按津小收生計分基準。

如果聖提女子係一條龍就好了！可惜唔係。本人左計右計入小學都係得20分，可謂凍過水，結果還是忍痛放棄了。

聖心去到中學的吸引力好像唔算好大，小學出名谷......

其實而家有邊間傳統學校唔谷？我估無！
分別在，果間學校多唔多家長出黎講咋！

其實以小學嚟講，SSGPS及SH(am)都唔係坊間講咁谷。

其實谷唔谷見仁見智，好多新進名校為求出位同埋令到多學生上Band1中學，狂谷學生補課做練習，長假期多數好多日要補課，變相冇假放。以上兩校唔會咁谷，不過我亦聽過SH好多功課，學生含著眼淚做功課。

For secondary school, workload at SSGC is still manageable, and beside homework, the school wants students to have time to develop their interests.   
Don't know about SH.

20分多數入到，不過當然有人唔得，咁就要叩門(附屬幼稚園專利)。

Flopsybunnies,
20pts old girls would probably have a higher chance than 1st child +baptism....
I forgo SSG because my daughter still has a chance at P1 3 yrs later but, if i give up SPK, she will have no chance for st paul convent PS.

I am not SSG old girl, and the 20 marks =1st child+SKH+suitable school age, and I belongs to Net 18........

Besides, SSGprimary doesn't guarantee to secondary. So as you say, SPK seems more secure to get a seat for SPC.

I don't think old girls 20 marks is better than first child + SKH because if there are too many people with 20 marks, the procedure is to carry out lucky draw among the 20 marks. Old girls have no preference at that stage.

As far as I know, almost all (if not, only one or two excluded) students in SSGPS goes to SSGC because they have 3 classes in SSGPS and have 5 classes in SSGC.

Do you know if SSGK kids with 15 marks will get a good chance to go to its primary school after all 3 rounds of allocation?  We are a Christian family and prefer not to send our kid to Catholic primary schools.

Usually SSGK kids with 15 marks will enter SSGPS in lucky draw section. For knocking door, I heard that usually are those with 20 marks

I have no luck on lucky draw at all.
For me it is so hard to give up SSGK's seat cos I really love SSGCP and SSGC very very much since I had been a secondary student.
Maybe I should find a job in SSGC and help my daughter to enter SSGCP three years later, haha.

In fact if you have 20 marks, the chance is not low!

My friend told me that only 3 KG girls with 20 marks did not get a place in 1st round last year.  2 of them finally got a place in SSGPS.

I prefer SPK than SSGK.  SSGK curriculum is too simple and not prepare well for other PS.
