選擇直資中學的原因-請分享

前幾天，和朋友談起升中的事，發覺阿仔間學校的同學，選擇直資中學的，較以往為多。所以想在此，看看各位家長報考直資學校的原因，謝謝。 （申報： 我兒子已簽了直資中學）

縮班、龍年、無抽獎運、B2成績、資源較多。當然所簽直資校風好及交通方便。

因就讀直資小學、龍年效應、B2成績，而且簽咗既學校校風好, 近屋企只步行10mins, 最重要係呀仔鍾意

很多top的直資中學 (SPCC, DBS, DGS..)與many traditional & famous B1 schools (QC, KC, WYK...) 各方面都同樣出色. However, top students may not be allocated to those traditional schools, depends on luck. So, they will prefer using their outstanding results to get an offer from top DSS. For example, the 1st and 3rd ranking in the P6 (totally 17x students) in my son primary school had got offers by SPCC so they gave up the lucky draw for those good traditional schools in the district.

Secondly, those B1/B2 students may likely not be awarded offers from those traditional schools in the 1st round-by interview (if you are headmaster, you will prefer to select some outstanding students at this stage) and may not be allocated to those good traditional schools as well. In view of EMI, good school environment and facilities, 資源較多.... they will prefer to select some DSS with 好校風.

Band2生，難confirm入到英中，揀有英文班的中中，又怕入不到英文班；
入到英文班又擔心一年有一年冇
乾脆搵直資，一勞永逸!況且有些直資每月約二千，負擔得起

這點我都有想過 ,
所以我只選擇一些與阿女程度較近直資投考 .
例如阿女是 B2A 成績 , 我只會考 1C & 2B 以上成績學校 .
因這些學校所收既學生 , 成績也是介於這程度之間 .
只要努力 , 成績不會比下去 . 自然讀得開心及有動力 .

況且有心理準備頭個兩年一定較辛苦及吃力 .
成績表有紅字 , 但這個過程就算是 B1 生入到英中
都會常見 . 所以預左就不會太擔心 .
因身邊也認識一個女孩也是這樣 .
由初頭考試吾合格要補考 , 到現在中五 .
在班取得獎學金 , 過程雖辛苦但見到她漸漸進步 .
隨手也能作一編英文作文及與外國人交談 .

如果小朋友本身已是B1A, 相信直資或派位問題都不大; 但邊緣成績學生, 就算家長事前做定所有功課/準備, 最后也可能未達人願.

我心血少亦無抽獎運, 唯有選擇直資中學.

對!以前我哋讀英中都係一嚿雲，學咗10多年，回顧又真係都見進步，聽說讀寫也可以，當然不是精!

吾洗客氣 ! 互相交流下見解姐 .
叫阿女比D心機考好個呈分試 . 入到 B1 線 ( 吾係 1 c ) .
玩大派彩就多D選擇 .
因阿女考晒都係邊緣人 , 所以決定讀直資 .

Aren't all band 1 students grouped and mixed together in lucky draw, i.e no B1a, B1b, B1c classes? And the fate is largely depended on the students' drawing numbers? Have I misunderstood the rules of game?

1A , 1B & 1C學生正常是選同一尺學校 ( B1 ) , 但這尺有邊緣位 .
因為 1C & 2C 成績學生是邊緣人 .
老師也不能確定話比您知 100% 正確答案 , 大多會講 1尾2頭 或 2尾3頭 .
所以如選校時進取左 , 以為自己是 B1 線學生 , 選晒 B1 學校 , 但其實阿仔是 B2 頭學生就好大鑊 .
因會由 B1 線學生先選校 , 而阿仔既 No. 又抽得吾好 , 要等 B2 線抽到好 No. 學生派完才派校比您阿仔 .
派到阿仔都所剩無幾 .

所以大多邊緣人選校都會較保守 . 當然有例外或派得好的 .
睇您自己搏晤搏 .

Thank you very much! it is clear.

According to my son's primary school, he is a secure B1b, but we still take a DSS offer. We are afraid of the central place allocation as we don't have 抽獎運. I just feel that this game is somehow not really logic, so don't want to take a chance.

band 1尾的邊緣人，如果派唔到b1中學，又無可能扣門，倒不如找間校風好一些，又係英中，好過入左那些唔鍾意的中中，到時就頭痕。

我上年有同事個仔係B1頭(佢小學考全級二十名內，全校大部份係B1學生），深水埗區，一心等抽獎，點知派咗去第九志願，一間自己毫無認識嘅B2尾中學，好彩叩門轉到去一間B1尾學校，不過係中中，但放榜嗰個星期都死咗好多腦細胞，仲要攞多幾日urgent leave陪個仔頻撲

重點係，香港好多區B1學生係多過B1學位，所以直資係一個保險
