Applied last year, accepted but gave up offer. What do you want to know about? The curriculum or application proccess?

I gave up because she was accepted by SPN. To me this is important because I don't have to go through the hassle of primary/secondary school applications. I mean, I would still apply for my target primary schools but at least I have ST Paul Convent as backup.

Can you share with us the PN curriculum?

It is a group interview. teachers and principal will observe the kids while they are playing. are you attending the head starts class there now? if yes, they will tell you hows the format of the interview and what they usually concern.
and almost 80% of their kids are from the head starts class there.

Yes, my daughter is attending the ITT now but the playgroup didn't mention the format of the interview.

how heard that they only accept 50 to 60 PN students? but their play group has more than 100 students...
anyway, i would like to know about the school fee. do you have any idea?

A parent told me that the PN school fee is around $8000-9000/month and that for K1 (whole day) is more than $10,000.

But I think it's worth that much, parents applying this school wouldn't care about much on school fee.

PN is half day $8000 per month while K1 - K3 is double for whole day class, $16000 a month.

I think the fee is a lot more than that. I heard goes up from $12000 to $ 18000 this year. And expect some extra cost through out the year.

U attend the welcome talk of ITT last year? They mention the format of interview and the successful rate from ITT there.

Group interview - teachers will observe how your child plays and interacts with other kids. Didn't ask me much because they should have known you quite well from the headstart. Only asked how I spend time with her and "how do you support her through her different developmental stage?"
You attended their headstart right? Why is the interview so late this year? I remembered that It was in march last year.

Can't say much as I didn't end up studying there,  though I have quite a few friend's kids studying there. They didn't used to have mandarin but I heard they started this year. English-based curriculum, quite balanced (not stretched like York/kentville etc, but more academic then SPN). Academically they equip their children well, in particular, their children trained are the types that co-Ed would like to take.

But I think for PN it's luck more than her performance / if she is able to get in top schools in during K1 interviews than I'd say she's smart (glad I don't have to go through it because I don't think she can make it)
