I made a mistake.  The one my son wants me to buy is "Famous 5 on the case" series.  We got two books from book fair.  He said there is a cartoon too.  Very interesting.  I found it in Book Despository.  Will order it.

How old is your girl?  how about some non-fiction books?  after fairy, my girl reads magic school bus chapter books, Last time the greek myth recommended by A-mum is also her favourite.  Geronimo is also ok.  "who was. . . " is also a good series to introduce famous people in history

You may try books written by Judy Blume.  Go to her website.  She writes books for different ages.

Some suggestions:  Pippi Longstocking series by Astrid Lindgren; Ramona series by Beverly Cleary; Judy Moody series by Megan McDonald.

They are funny and she keeps giggling!

She also didn't like Geronimo before but Pearl is now showing the Geronimo cartoons at 4:30pm. After watching one episode, she fell in love with the stories!

咁o岩, 阿女都係睇緊Harry Potter, just finished the prisoner of azkaban, side tracked to read charlie and the chocolate factory.  我覺得book 4 開始情節比較深, 人物亦多, 唔知佢睇唔睇得明

暑假期間, 明珠台有幾個星期六晚都播Harry Potter, 9月1日剛播了Half-Blood Prince, 不知遲些會否播最後一集(共分兩齣), 記住留意. 阿囡每次電視播Harry Potter, 佢都要之前重溫該集的書, 佢話咁樣再睇戲會好睇好多喎!

我話睇晒套書至俾睇電影呀！
因為阿哥睇，阿妹又實睇，但我又怕佢會驚到書都唔敢睇；始終睇戲會真過睇書，分分鐘發埋惡夢。

不過開咗學阿妹都未慣，好忙，又慢！無乜時間睇書，希望適應咗會好啲。

Bobo-mum and A-mum,
Actually it is the Pearl Movie made my daughter picking up the first book.  Last Saturday Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in on Pearl, and then she start reading it right after the HP Book 3.  I asked would she not have the interest to read the book after seeing the movie, but she said no.  She said she will re-read the book after she watched the movie, to pick up some details she missed.

我係淘寶見到有呀，不過未揀定舖頭。阿仔竟然想要 Dumbledore 嗰支⋯ 成個阿伯咁款⋯你個女仲鍾唔鍾意貼紙？我以前儲落咗本好厚嘅 Lego Harry Potter ultimate sticker book, 幾靚架，有興趣 search 埋啦，應該仲有。

When you pick a shop, please let me know.  I have a sticker collector book of The Order of Phoenix bought from warehouse sales.  I used these to train them finding numbers when they were little coz there are more than 200 stickers.

我買咗喇，都係樹脂做的，易斷，所以我買多幾枝。原來無 Ginny 款，只有 Hermione's or Fleur's... 要智慧、定要美貌呢？
