尋日再試借Tiara club俾女, 今次佢反應比四個月前好, 唔駛我伴讀, 佢自己睇左好耐, 迷左入去. 都無咩女孩子會唔喜歡公主
近來偏向借中文書, 呀女由初期反應麻麻, 到現在佢對中文字起左興趣, 問我關於象形文字既問題, 所以尋日都借左本關於象形文字既書.

暑假我都有俾女睇 TVB 播既Harry Potter, 後期都幾黑暗, 呀女有d驚不過又堅持要睇. 佢同細佬成日攞屋企個掃把扮Harry Potter

暑假在台灣誠品買了一本上小一的書：

[君偉上小學，小一鮮事多]， 故事惹笑，女兒非常喜愛，也對自己的小一生涯充滿期待。

可惜只買了一本，整個系列共有六本，從小一講到小六，查過香港誠品，竟已售罄。

當然 中文類的繪本是最底買的, 買繪本是因為啲圖畫 及 意思/意景，簡体字都可忍受到的

小朋友睇開英文書，唔鍾意中文書。所以中文唔好。如果鼓勵佢睇多啲中文書又怕佢轉了睇中文書唔睇英文書。始終中國人又讀中文小學。漸漸中文能力一定比英文好。特別是到高小，中學。到時想佢睇英文書都難。聽朋友講小朋友好難中英文書都喜歡睇。好矛盾，你們會點做？

我依家規定要一中一英，間住睇。有時啲書好厚，一個星期都睇唔完一本，我都會要佢停低，睇番本第二樣先。不過小朋友一路大個，遲啲都唔可以監佢，只可以希望細個慣咗中英文書都鍾意，大個佢會自動自覺，兩樣都繼續睇。

一中一英, would you please share your Chinese book list?  I have a feeling if I cannot seduce my girl to read more Chinese this year, she would not be interested to read Chinese book anymore, except the textbook.  I find it very difficult to find interesting Chinese book for 8yr old.  Translation copy . . . well, why not read the original eng.  those by hong kong publisher only publish boring chinese book, and they are not original either.

Laputa, 說來慚愧，你見我要監佢地一中一英，都知我地都係失𧗾。哥哥肯睇過嘅，好多都係男仔書，如冒險小虎隊、功夫熊貓。中性啲有套（好似叫）閱讀傘、閱讀123有三、四本屁屁超人，啲兒童版三十六計、西遊記、喜洋洋有套小說版，bk~21 前都是喜洋洋當主角的，新出嗰十幾本已經轉咗角色。其他我都唔記得。我通常係叫佢去圖書館揀兩套書，我逐本借或預約。佢要靠我供應英文書，所以死死地氣都會揀。其實好多時睇落佢都係有興趣架，不過唔逼又唔肯開始。
佢呢期鍾意知識書，呃呃氹氹咗一輪，終於肯試下三釆套漫畫知識書，依家又睇唔停。次次我都忍唔住哦佢，一早話好睇啦，你又唔信；但下次要轉書時，佢又係要扭一輪！
書局有套？福爾摩狗嘅偵探故事，我揭過都幾好，睇下你囡囡有無興趣？我嗰個，又係回絕咗⋯

Thanks for your advice.  屁屁超人 - she said a bit boring, but she likes some other titles under 閱讀123.  喜洋洋小說圖書館冇得借, 所以一定要買, 今日借左君偉上小學. 試下佢有冇興趣先. . .
我唔准佢帶HP ORDER OF the phoniex 番學, 因為實在太重, 於是佢響學校圖書館借, 放響學校,小息同班主任堂繼續追

so glad that your girl likes them, I like them very much myself!

My girl is now exploring the Roald Dahl boxset, still avoiding the Blyton books.

BTW, I guess not many Potter fans will cut apart their books, so you may like to take a look at how crazy it looks like

I used to cut my text book back in university when the McGrawhills or Prentice  Hall's are super thick, but I never thought about cutting my harry potter like this. . . on the one hand, it's hard back, so cannot do so, and on the other hand, it's a something I am not dare to start. . . cannot imagine my other books. . .

My girl is ok with Ronald Dahl, as to Blyton, I bought "the naughtiest girl" and told her the girl is studying in a school just like Harry Potter, where students need to study and sleep in school.

Same here. 經常在校車睇, 無佢符. 阿囡班上同學中, 戴眼鏡的同學比無戴多.
