去年被評全球最佳大學 14%劍橋生靠販毒付學費

(綜合報道)(星島日報報道)據一項令人吃驚的調查結果顯示，去年被評為全球最佳大學的英國劍橋大學，有百分之十四（約七分之一）學生靠販賣毒品幫補學費。調查指許多學生表示被逼向朋友販賣違禁品應付學費；又指三分之二劍橋學生承認吸毒，最普遍的毒品是大麻。
　　調查稱，四分之一劍橋學生表示曾吸索可卡因。許多受訪者指，過去十年價格下降了一半的可卡因，在劍橋大學被吸索的程度，遠較其他大學為高。令人震驚的是，有一成四吸毒的劍橋學生曾入院或需接受治療。
　　每年學費高達十一萬元
　　倫敦國王學院一名學生透露，那是很難邊做工邊在劍橋讀書的，最容易的揾快錢交學費方法就是販毒。劍橋大學每年學費約九千鎊（約十一萬港元）。
　　這項調查由學生報《Varsity》進行，訪問了四百三十四名主要是大學生的受訪者，五分之一受訪者表示開始吸毒是為了減低繁重的功課壓力。一名受訪大學生說，在這樣高壓的環境下，那麼多學生以吸毒減壓是不足為奇的。
　　這項調查的結果對著名的劍橋大學的聲譽不無打擊，該大學去年擊倒美國哈佛大學成為全球最佳大學。
　　劍橋大學一名發言人質疑這項調查的真確性，並指他們不會接受非法販毒行為。他又指大學會勸喻學生切勿吸毒，因為那會嚴重影響完成學業的能力。

反正到頭來咪又一樣成堆人去考劍橋,入到劍橋咪又一樣咁happy…………LSC,QC夠有人吸毒,D家長咪又一樣咁想D仔入……

News may not be reliable.

Taking drugs, depend on what kinds of drugs. In the States and UK, taking drugs among college students may not be a "shocking" news...students from all kinds of universities, including state u and private u.. may have this kind of situation....in their college life.

Selling drugs... not sure then..

問卷一向都唔可靠.  正如亞女話幾年前做過一份不記名的問卷調查, 佢地班百厭星竟然有一半答曾經吸毒

My son's school did a survey to see how supportive the students to join the drug screening test 2-3,years ago. The response was very supportive, then they requested budget to conduct tests. When they asked the students officially, less than 20%, then they shelfed the test.

I am one of the parents against such test.....
