好明顯GH好難入, 佢地唔睇媽媽係唔係OLD GIRL.....主要睇小朋友performance(好似公平D)......(其他kindergarten,old girl,有 sibbling,一定收,令其他小朋友少左機會入讀 & 少左AM CLASS)

我識的朋友來自SH, GH, St. paul, 高主教,都係入唔到local u, 所以唔一定名校會入到U的.

多謝大家既寶貴意見 :) 我仲諗緊. 德望係近屋企d, 但學費要比足15年又真係好甘.... 真光就比9年, 但頭3年有學劵......

其實小女都有好多間唔收, St. Cat, St. Clare, 民生, 培正全部都係waiting, 可能面試真光和德望狀態較好而已(題外話: 狀態好唔好又要視乎面試時間, 老師nice唔nice, 及其他同組小朋友既表現)......

相信遲d聖心和St. Paul 放榜之後會有更多位比waiting list 既小朋友, 希望在明天啊

I have friends from both TL and GH. Those from TL are nice and low profile and those from GH are more self centred but more presentable in English.

I like TL also! The girl is more traditional! However, I haven't go interview in TL because it is in Hong Kong side. Also, the studen can admit to primary shcool 100%!

另外, 有無買今期Sunday ? Sunday Kiss 介紹, 女校當中, GH, 協恩, 女拔的Sport 都係全港丁當馬頭!!!!勁!!!!!

(GH 成績 + 運動 比較 All rounded >TL )
如為了100%上TL小學而放棄上GH, 好可惜.......

GH 在各方面都好.....如果家長見到GH學生品行唔好, 都只係special case, (因為每間學校都有咁既學生), 我覺得最重要係父母的身教和學校老師帶出的整體氣氛, 家長無需怕入GH Kinder 去唔返GH 小學, 我們應該對子女有信心......(朋友稱,真係大都可升上GH 小學, 唔升只因有其他Offer)

不過, 地區真係一個考慮, 如果住HK Island, 都可以有其他Choice的!!!! 住九龍的, 唔洗唸, 一定係GH.....

Good.  I also agreed that GH suits your daughter more.  So you can release your TL offer to someone who want it

It's really hard to determine. My daughter is now studying in TL primary and my nieces are studying in GH primary and secondary.  Honestly, my daughter was rejeted by GH primary the year before.  However, I was glad that she is now studying in TL  since she is so happy to go to this school . She even said that it's more fun than in kindergarten.  Compared to my nieces, every weekend need to finish 10 to 12 homework and english is taught 1 grade higher.  So , I think it really depends on your kid's abitlity, if you think that she is an academic kid, go for GH.  If you don't mind she learn a bit slower but happier, then TL.  However, think about if the school teach faster or harder, is it better for the kid?  What are the outcome that we want as parents ?

If GH is near to your home, don't think twice, just go for it unless you're sure your daughter is a slow learner (most likely not). Everyone knows GH is more competitive and difficult to get in.  If there is  a chance , don't let it slip away.  You never know unless you try.

When you compare the school fees, its worth to pay more cause GH is a real dragon school while TL is not.  TL students have to struggle during the primary years in order to gain a seat in secondary school.  Getting into a dragon school is a blessing   If money is your concern, you shouldn't even consider TL or GH at all since  there are many other choices.   You should think of the end - i.e  15 years later instead of  3 years later...that would help you  plan your kid's future.

GH secondary has changed to DSS school so it can accept all its primary students.

但真光校車錢又多番啫,仲有小朋友的時間都是金錢.
如果兩間唔係好大分別,一定選近屋企個間啦.
況且真光可能又要出去補language,都係錢.++埋埋,如果concern金錢其實都差不多.
