Haha I like your booklist. Absolutely suitable for boy.
Is book 3 of Narnia a little bite boring? (commented by my boy) He would start reading book 4 tmr. He said it's much more interesting.
How's about the classics? Charles Dickens, suitable or not? He read Christmas carol (simplified version)

If he felt Narnia is boring, I think Charles Dicken's stories may not amaze him.  How about Mark Twain's stories?

Thanks and I will let him try. However my boy will finish reading Narnia because the box set is a gift from Santa!
Actually he likes book 1&2, but not the book 3. And now he is expecting the book 4.

I like Narnia chronicles, and another book I like is Lord of the Rings.  But this may be too difficult for him.  He could try another short story - Hobbits, the story tells where Froddo's uncle get the ring.
