Not that easy nowadays, may have a chance for interview, how about the chance to be admitted. 20% or 80%...
I know some friends are principals and they said its difficult to use back door, unless the children is very outstanding. You may say, if the kid is outstanding, why use back door; they said you never know your chance and position in the admission process, they can hint the kid's chance only.

Of course, some organisations may have a some quota for the Board of Directors to nominate one or two candidates.

有D學校"叩門插班"係要考筆試+面試, 吾知你所指既"叩後門"係咪識有力人士又不用考試而直入?

當然呢d位都係刨奪叩門位. 但借地址就真真真真係唔要得!

叩門 - 合理合法
走後門 - 類似擦邊球或者可能牽涉非法行為，例如貪污.....
係兩個完全不同既概念

叩前門或叩後門都不是易事,後者我做不出,還有借地址,捐錢給學校或高學歷闊太做校工都見怪不怪,俗語說八仙過海,各顯神通,都是為孩子,做現今父母真不容易

借地址 - 非法行為，EDB為何多年視若無睹
捐錢給學校 - 我勉強接受，但學校及辦學團體要有透明度$$$，可能有人比得起，都一視同仁
高學歷闊太做校工 - 合法行為，自己做唔到，無得怨天尤人
舊生做義工或Mentor - 合法行為

阿女仲晌我個肚裡面已經有親戚話幫佢報讀某名小學，我當時欣然接受。人算不如天算，阿女 k3 時名小學校長夠鐘退休，後門無得叩，我於是努力叩前門，叩入一間我覺得唔錯嘅次選。
名小學因為校長退休入讀無門，反而叩入嗰間嘅校長係收完我女之後就退休，很有趣嘅安排。
大約一年後，親戚舊事重提，話可以揾修女入小二。我做哂阿女嘅 cv，最後都冇行動。理由係阿女嗰時嘅成績只屬中上，名小學晌九龍我住香港，路途遙遠我有猶疑。
低小叩後門係可以唔需要睇成績，但以佢當時嘅成績要叩前門入自己間小學都相信冇機會。一動不如一靜。
我唔知道當初嘅決定是否正確，轉校後是福是禍。
阿女現在讀中二，安慰係成績可以接受，係佢能力範圍之內。
