Thank you. Could you comment on the ratio of local students vs foreign? I went to the KC campus but didn't get a chance to visit the one at Shek Kip Mei. They both look pretty old and small to be honest. While the new campus won't be ready until 2015 this is one of my big concern
Thanks iseult. I am not too familiar with the Alberta curriculum. How would you comment on the differences between it and IB/AP? In terms of academics, are you satisified with the level which your girl is being taught?
For existing parents, what do you think of CAIS not being an IB school? Does that concern you?
Secondly, it seems the school "promotes" Christianity quite heavily from the video I saw. Is that true?
You can submit referral letter later, but I guess the selection process highly depends on the referral comments, and seems they will not process until referral letter is received, therefore, recommend to submit ASAP.
Ai....that means we cannot submit the letter only after we get the offer, right? How did u talk to ur kid's current school to get the letter? Seems embarrassing...
If u r in int'l kinder K2, it is normal to apply for preparatory school. For my case, my boy was in local kinder, I told teacher we moved to another district which is the truth and therefore normal to apply another school in different district, and if not successful, still would stay even it is far away.
The interview runs like a mock lesson, but I don't know the details as my boy did not tell me, I only know it's a group of children about 6-8 for my case, I saw the teacher gave them worksheets to work on or draw and then sit together on the floor and played some English card games
