Why they don't ask the parents questions? The interview content seems different. My girl only didn't know the name of the vegetable (cucumber) but all other questions (ask name, age, matching, point towel, clothes, etc.) can answer clearly.
Does that mean I already failed so she don't want to ask further questions?

No, it should not. Because when I submitted the application form, the interview time session is taken randomly by the parent helper and once the sticker was used off, and the helper will take a new sticker list. On the interview slip, it would not show the age group. Only the application form no. Is printed on the top. The teacher can't specify the age just only read the interview slip.

It is the shortest and easiest interview I had so far ( othe than the food name ), so it is also the most difficult interview cos you dunno what is the actual criteria.  

Arrangement is better than last year.  Thanks for the voluteer helper.  Add oil and good luck everyone

Apart from cucumber, did teacher ask your child to point to 桌子、衣服？係桌子唔係枱，問2歲衣服而唔係衫喎！你平時會否叫你個小朋友「坐埋桌子食飯」或「「㖦啊，著多件衣服」？2歲係應該知道桌子、椅子、衣服？

問桌子/衣服, 好明顯係睇你平時有無閱讀中文書.我好同意, 最容易的面試, 其實係最難, 睇細微處...

老師都有叫我女用手指指住件衣服（我無提，但佢做到）跟住配對番個青瓜，又問我個女有無食過青瓜（我女竟然話有？？）

考你地個位老師咩態度架？我都知班老師都考到麻木晒，有d機器feel, 一來就考，同平時考其它，感覺好快考完，趕考下一位，真係唔知咩收生標準？只係2-3分鐘，又冇咩同家長交流，我諗都係個位老師既眼緣多。

我係1：30PM INTERVIEW，估計老師都有少倦意呱？
但態度OK喎，佢問我女既名，我個女講XX妹妹（無講姓），老師重問，點解有“妹妹”，之後還重新教我女讀一次全名潻。

問題定得好好, 比個安慰自己, 答中哂都未必收, 相信全部答啱都要睇小朋友點答(眼神, 聲線)

ps: 我 interview 時間好短, 唔計我囡囡答佢乜名同幾歲, 之後唔知有無一分鐘就叮走, 表現太差, 唔想浪費我地時間

排隊等候嘅時間太長喇! 大概40分鐘, 原本小朋友都大把電嘅, 去到班房門口時已經用咗大半, 到佢IN嘅時候仲可以答到老師問題, 又無發脾氣, 又無鬧情緒已經好叻喇! 我哋要好好讚下小朋友呀!

我個女又係唔識答'青瓜'囉! 哈哈...D問題其實都幾淺(青瓜除外), 應該大部份嘅小朋友都識答, 又無問家長問題, 咁多小朋友IN, 唔知佢哋嘅收生標準係咩呢?

By the way, 有無人知今年有幾多applicant呢?

I argee. I heard parents from SH said the school life is very hard (both parents & kids are vy tired). They want to select families that concentrate on "knowledge" development, asking age 2 kid 桌子 /衣服 /青瓜 is totally silly, I dont want my kid to act like a robot. SH is really not my cup of tea. Good luck to those who really love that school!!!

Having been SHCK parents for 3 years, I have never heard of such comments on the kindergarten.  I believe you are referring to parents of the private primary section which certainly would have different expectation on students with different level of development.

I assume you don't read Chinese books to your kids often if you think the questions are silly, these are phrases that would have been mentioned during book reading (assume parents would relate written phrases to commonly used phrases for communication).  

These questions are all very carefully designed to maximize the information that can be obtained through limited time.  It tells a lot about the parents and the children, without the need to ask the parents.  The children cannot lie through the process of answering these questions, not just by answering these questions correctly.

I am a SHCK parent and in fact I think SHCK is a very happy kindergarten. They really focus on the moral training rather than academic level. My daughter always sing songs and pray when she comes back from school.
I'm sure what u refer " difficult life" is definately that primary school and not kindergarten.
